Befriending strangers

It’s really hard to believe
But it all happened to me
Befriending strangers within 12 hours
             How could it really be?

That day we met for the first time
And became friends within no time
Friends as good, as I ever had
The love so deep that I never had
So many firsts on that single day
Hard to believe and hard to say
But they all made a fruitful sense
Arising out of that coincidence

Befriending strangers was so easy
             Ws beyond my imaginations
Their heartily affection was so deep
That it was out of my expectations

Stay away from these metro damsels
             People usually say
They’ll squeeze you out completely
And make you lose your way
But with these young girls
             It’s been a harsh treatment
They all are very matured, no doubt!
But they also have deep sentiments

Befriending strangers was never easy for me
But these girls have taught me sure
They can be tricky for a few or many
But for me they are true and pure

Knocking On The Forbidden Doors

What a pretty face did she had
Quite enough to make me mad
She looked at me and I preferred to hide
‘Cause I was a little weak on my side
The cap that she was wearing
             Was partially covering her eyes
But the visibility was just enough
To make me reach the paradise

The red dress that she was in
Turned me into a reddish freak
And that color was so profound
That it even travelled to her cheeks
Her looks were so tempting
As she is one in many crores
But sometimes I go around and think
That I’m knocking on forbidden doors

But it wasn’t late
When my friends came to know about it
They all started their orthodox teasers
And made my dreams a shit

I’ll probably never meet her again
And my dream has turned into vain
I’ve to believe in this bitter fact
As I don’t have any chance to interact
But her memories will remain in my mind
And I don’t even have to go and find
I know she is not made for me
Though she is one in many crores
I had understood this right begin
Then why was I knocking on the forbidden doors?

Essence of smile

Smile has the power to heal a wound
As it has the effect so profound
It energizes your instincts
And the energy is distinct
It relieves your pain
And the happiness you gain
That happiness is beyond expectations
Can only be felt by imaginations
             That’s the essence of smile
Which people should understand
That is its own style
When it gives the helping hand

For the humans it is a gift
Preserve it friends and let it not drift
It emerges slowly but spreads too swift
And it helps the spirit to gain a lift
So that’s the essence of smile
When it spreads like an infection
             It has that unmatched beauty
             That results in its addiction

It not only gives the peace to others
It has the effect to be the soother
It makes you forget all the traumas
All the stories and all the dramas
So, it’s the essence of smile
And you need to cultivate it
Not for others but for yourself
You do need to maintain it

Second glance

I’m not crazy about her
I don’t even love her at all
But if she’ll continue like this
Then I’m sure she’ll break the formidable wall
             Looking once is ok
But why do you increase the chance
To directly have an eye contact
When she gives the second glance

Don’t make me mad baby
And compel me not to stare
You are enough pretty to be resisted
Though I sometimes want to care
When you keep looking at me like this
             It only induces the trance
But why do you give that killer smile
             And that rarest second glance

Every move that she makes
Becomes a test to my heart
Every step that she takes
Makes me dream right through the start
             She has a style inborn
             And a very beautiful stance
But the most attractive thing that she has
Is her simple second glance

The other way she feels

I was bound to believe
             That she’s blonde and beautiful
But she made a comment
             That my condition was pitiful
Her looks were different
As she had those green eyes
I wanted to marry her
             But she said,
That I need to be a little wise

She is the one who wrecks my heart
And she is the one who steals
But I’m never able to make her understand
For it is the other way she feels

The million dollar smile
For which I was ready to die
But she used to laugh on my face
             Including all the passers by
I said to her
             That I’m crazy about you
But she proved to me
That I had a loosened screw

I said to her that you heal my wounds
And she started looking at her heals
‘Cause I’m never able to make her understand
For it is the other way she feels

That distinct glance of hers
             That as truly visible
Turned up into a stare
And said that I was not feasible
I tried hard to convince
That I loved her the most
And she got me to believe
That I’ve a habit to boast

I wanted to sit in front of her
But she preferred to make me kneel
And I’m never able to make her understand
For it is the other way she feels

Angel in white

I was with my teammates
The moment she strike in there
She seemed to me the most distinct
             With a super natural flair
Her every move was beyond expectations
‘Cause they brought her nearer to my sight
Her every step was par imagination
For she was an ‘Angel in white’

I was absolutely standstill
Just by a mere glance of hers
Her white dress and black sandals
             Were perfect for a verse
She came and greeted me there
But I could hardly greet her right
Her looks were driving me crazy
For she was an ‘Angel in white’

The words became extinct
But I had many things to say
What a superb moment that was
             On that very fortunate day
She was looking too pretty
And her smile too bright
But I couldn’t say anything to her
‘Cause my classmate was the ‘Angel in white’

On the other side of the road

A glimpse of her eyes through the speeding cars
Was like a flash from million stars
It was a jolt right within
I could not help to be carried in
It was a bolt from the clear blue sky
I stared at her just to give a try
I wanted to talk to her
I wanted to know her name
             But she was standing
On the other side of the road
             With an innocent unaware fame

I walked towards her
             With a distinct confidence
But without any brain
             And sans common sense
I looked straight into her eyes
             Neither left nor right
And I crashed on a biker
             To engage in a fight

I had to win over him
             To maintain my remaining dignity
             For she was standing
On the other side of the road
             Creating a blissful serenity

I kicked that guy
             But he punched me out
With a swelled face and a black eye
             I left that bout

I headed towards her covering my eyes
Thinking about the excuses and all the lies
Then came a guy and she sat on his bike
It was her boy-friend that I didn’t at all like

In a flash she was gone
             And gone within no time
And I could just stand and cry
             That baby you’re mine
And all of a sudden
             A horn honked my ear
I ran to a side
             As my life was dear

             I waited out there
             As another girl came
             Again she was standing
On the other side of the road
And I wanted to know her name…

Speed freaks, mind speaks

Just a flash and it’s gone
As a streak of star in the mist of dawn
             Catch it if you can
It waits for nobody, but it stays for somebody
Yeah guys! It’s called the time
As its speed and strength perfectly rhyme

It teaches us the lesson
             To be the speed freaks
Though the tongue keeps silent
             Yet the faster mind speaks
Rush not move, with a brutal pace
Fly not walk, in this changing phase
Kill not hurt, is the ask for today
And jump not leap, as some great men say

Speed is the only thing that counts
Slow and steady hardly accounts
The enthu of the rewards
             Will steal off your tiredness
And you’ll work in accord
             Leaving aside the laziness

Speed is like an addiction
You work once, you work twice
And it spreads like an infection
A deer runs, faster than the fastest lion
             To stay alive
A lion runs, faster than the fastest dear
             To fill his hunger
So run my friends, as fast as you can
Speed is your motive and the hardcore plan

Welcome freshers!

Oh! Welcome freshers
             To this most recognized department
We have a place reserved for you
             Also in our heart apartment

Your presence brightens up the day
Your intellect has many things to say
Your energy burns up all the hay
And then we have a bill to pay
             Oh come on just kidding!
That was only a joke to say
We know
That your goals have a movement like a ray
You all succeed in your life
That’s the only thing we pray

We remember
The day you first stepped
In the Department of Business Administration
Big question mark on every guy’s face
             But with a distinct satisfaction
We never expected that you’ll create
             Such extensive reverberation
That the whole department will dance
On the 16th October for recreation

Your batch comprises of
             Such beautiful kudiyaan
Some are simple, a few are sober
             And most are burning fuljhariyaan
Just their presence creates the milieu
             For an exceptional euphoria
And the department also boasts of
             These rarest Goriyaan
We are sure you’ll rise
             To the paramount position
None of you will settle for hausfrau
             And continue the blind tradition
Take the world in your stride
             With the utmost precision
Break all barriers, remove all fences
             As well as the superstitions

Now considering something
             About the boy’s part
You are all quite contrary
             To your fairer counterpart
Beware! The girls are going to drive you crazy
             Your lackluster attitude
             Makes you all lazy
Anyhow, if are on the hit list
Then you all turn to be evangelist
Our dear brethren can outflank any philanderer
             Yet you are called philanthropist

So now guys
It’s time to get into the grove
As we have some lip-smacking supper
             And a foxtrot to prove

So go and get your part or pie
Otherwise you’ll lag behind mere bhai
The floor is ready for your jhatkaa
And we can’t help if somebody atkaa

We’ll have some toothsome vegetarian
That you’ll remember till septuagenarian
But mind it out the samose me mircha
That has proved us a lot of kharcha

We all had some exciting times together
The memories of which are imprinted forever
We hope that you didn’t mind
             All through the introduction
As we just wanted to prove
             Our deep love and affection
But in case if you felt otherwise
Then we are sorry and heartily apologize
We just wanted to build
             A healthy atmosphere
Which has the camaraderie
             All in a social sphere

We expect from you to sync all around
             And raise the coveted banner
We expect you to win all through
             In a competitive manner

Our wishes are always with you
In every step of your life
And you’ll find us beside you
             In each and every strife
But don’t expect us to help you
In that part of your life
Which includes the fights and quarrels
             Between the husband and wife
But we promise that we won’t be ajnabee
‘Cause our dil really chahta hai
So enjoy that day as much as you can
As ye din roz nahi aata hai

The Impossible Gandhi

Oh what to say
             About those pragmatic principles
Real hard and rigid
             So need some extensive shuffles

Among the biggest principles of Gandhi
             Was the one of Ahimsa
But this Gandhi only believes in
             Mar kaat and hinsa

He has a humpty head and a dumpty body
             With a big thick eyebrow
Don’t ever challenge him
Otherwise he’ll say ungli neeche karo

You stay miles away from him
             Only then you’ll remain happy
Otherwise he’ll stand on your head
             ‘Cause his ruh didn’t kaapi

He doesn’t has the courtesy
             Even while talking to ladkiyaan
And if he continues this type of attitude
Then I’m sure he’s going to land into kadkiyaan

You think him to be very ethical
He is exactly like a bubble
Looks good from outside, but the moment he bursts
He is no more than rubble

You prick a pin into his belly
And he’ll burst like a balloon
With a big bang and a top shot
He slowly comes out of the cocoon

You call him a Gandhi
             That’s a dubious distinction
I’m not even able to find words for him
‘Cause words are also on the verge of extinction

He thinks himself to be the greatest of all
And wants everybody to flash him a salaam
But I seriously predict his future today
             He’s going to land nowhere
Except being a joru ka gulaam

Shahar ki ladkiyaan

She walks down the street
             And makes the traffic halt
She is the pretty woman
A combi of spicy sweety salt

She’ll drive you crazy
But you better drive araam se
‘Cause these are the shahar ki ladkiyaan
             Otherwise you gaye kaam se

Not only this
They all have such pretty ankhiyaans
You try to convince one
And they all land up with sakhiyaans

I try to work it out somehow
But they all look the same
With a blue jeans and a red top
They all seem to be English babu’s desi mem

The more you try to maintain the duriyaan
             They follow you like parchaiyyan
Now only God help us
As they create the biggest pareshaniyaan

Into the frenzy traffic
             They cash their way
And when they crash onto some guy’s bike
That poor chap has a bill to pay

You dare not argue with any of them
‘Cause the public is on their side
They give just a formal sorry
             And a smile too wide

To accompany them in a café
Is one of the biggest bawaal
‘Cause when you come back home
You need to answer many sawaal

So at last there’s a word of caution
             To all of you
Stay away from these pretty damsels
             If you really can do

They prove to be more kadak
             Than any winter kadkiyaan
Because they are called the all famous
             Shahar ki ladkiyaan

The big tree in the courtyard

Forgive me, oh please forgive me
             That vulnerable child cried
As the big tree had trapped it down
             And hold it tightly tied

The heartbeat starts sinking
             And the limbs become numb
With even a slight glance of that tree
             When screams become dumb

When the wind slowly blows
             Through its innumerable branches
The hissing sound that it creates
             Tells your probable chances

You stand right in front of it
And look into its dense branches
You see a face of a ghost
             Giving you hungry glances

You step and crush the dead dried leaves
When you move one step back
And you find that your feet is glued
             Onto that hostile track

The rotten bones that you see underneath it
Cries and tells the whole story
Drops of blood trickling down from it
             Increasing the existing fury

Then the ghost comes down from the tree
With just the hands and the head
Its eyes and teeth terrifies your instincts
And the claws are wet and red

It’s hungry to feed on your flesh
It’s thirsty to drink your blood
The jaws and claws are waiting out there
             Like a sharp edge stud

You scratch your voice out of your throat
             But it’s somewhere lost
In the density of the tree
You apply all your damn energy
             But there’s nobody
             Who can set you free

The roots fall down of the branches
And rolls all through your waist
The picks and thorns enter your veins
And enjoys that hot blood taste

You know that you’re finished
And ultimately you give it up
The branches have got their orders
             To finally take you up

So, there stands the tree
And that ghost under its guard
Now every mortal is warned about
The big tree in the courtyard

The sixth sense for winning

It lightens up the soul
             To play a distinct role
To brighten up the day
And as the great men say

The sense of winning comes from within
             Nor searches neither researches
They peek-a-boo from the edge of the heart
To realize right from the start
That there stands the winner, right on the top
Consistently rising without a stop

It says that you are the winner
Even before you take the test
And the energy that it possesses
Makes you go for the best
The enthu that it creates
             From the eyes it radiates
The heart beat tells the tale
You even need not go and look out for it
You need not call or even remember it
You need not do anything for it
It assures to set its own sail

But it isn’t that easy
             To experience it
It comes to the deserving soul
             And stays with the fit

You toil your sweat and run all wet
You feel you’re right and still you can’t get
Because it only comes to the lucky few
Whose heart is as pure as the morning dew
Who have done the labour
             And were honest with it
Who have a sense of confidence
With an attitude that ‘I’ve done it’

Just the presence of it
Is the essence for the life time
‘Cause it’s rarest of the experiences
Working out on a thin fine line

Those joyous moments with the wine
When the spirit is on cloud nine
Shakes and trembles filling the floor
Making the feeling Divine

The glowing eyes show the path
For the assurance of the aftermath
When the instincts are at their best
To give you an edge over the rest

Then it arrives as the rarest sixth sense
Breaking all barriers, even the big high fence
It touches you with its trembling hands
             Your soul lightens up
             Your spirit brightens up
And you sense as the winner you’ll stand
