Addicted to your smile

Right through the midnight
Till the mist of the dawn
I searched for my Angel
             But the dreams are gone

The heart conflicts with the mind
Though it happens only for a while
Then why do I like you so much?
Probably I’m addicted to your smile

Through the light of the day
When I’ve so much to say
You fall in my way
             But don’t prefer to stay

Why do I like you so much?
Is it your distinct style?
Probable is still the mystery
As I’m addicted to your smile

Zephyr in the night

I wonder how soothing it can be
I wonder the beauty I could see
I could feel that zephyr in the night
Requiring the senses of the slight

I used to wander
Through the dusk till the dawn
It was always with me
             And never was it gone
Right through the darkness
With its utmost subtleness
I could feel the zephyr in the night
All through the breezy moonlight
I could feel the warmth in its smell
I could feel the love on which I fell
I could feel it rustle
Through the strands of my hair
And I could feel it all
             ‘Cause the zephyr was rare

All of a sudden I analyzed
That the zephyr in the night I realized
Was only the imagination
             Out of my mind
And it was my Angel
             Who kept me bind

I couldn’t see her but I could feel
It was her presence that I wanted to steal
It was my Angel whose rarest sight
Brought down that gentle
             Zephyr in the night

Odyssey in darkness

Down in the dream lane
I drifted in speed
I screamed in fright
But where could it lead?
             Seconds and minutes
             And I was beyond centuries
             Hurtling all the stars aside
             Fate destined to juries
Sins and crimes all stood there
The doomsday was to reach
Darkness stretching beyond infinity
And then I halted with a screech
My angel stood right in front
             With the perfection of beauty
She sends me back in my present
             For performing my duty
I opened my eyes and found myself
The odyssey ended within no time
I couldn’t resist the thought of that Angel
Who stood there in my dream sublime
