Let's go for a walk

It’s a cold breezy night
Not an ideal time to walk
Tired through the day’s work
Feels heavy like a rock
Still I agree to go with you
Always thinking why
Some part of me likes that walk
Some part asks me why?

Walking through the weeks and months
Now a full year has gone
The ride surely wasn’t that bumpy
Lots of smiles with a few frowns
It is surely a beautiful phase
Saw the reason to live this life
I saw the world through a different face
Saw you as a wonderful wife

I really wish we keep walking
This one year was just too fast
I look forward to our daily walks
And I wish they always last
Wish we spend more and more time together
Wish we always talk
Wish we keep on walking for years
That’s why I say “Let’s go for a walk”
