As silent as death

The ambience is dying a slow death
But the grieves are hard to hear
All the mortals are speaking
But to me, nothing is clear
The life is running at a frenzy pace
But sometimes it seems crawling instead
Sometimes the joy fills the aura
Then it is as silent as death.

Is the silence leading to the death?
Or death that is leading to silence
I’m trapped in this vicious circle
             Unable to keep my patience
This silence haunts me in broad daylight
             Follows even in my dream
The death seems to be so near
             Yet I’m unable to scream

Waiting for the party to come
A ray of hope still exists
The times don’t seem to be rosy
But dreams are such, they still persist
Sometimes the head is held high
             Sometimes the shoulders dropping instead
The mornings are so chirping
And then again it is as silent as death.
